Today was a good day overall, but it felt weird to me because my emotions have been a bit haywire.

Stepdad took us all to the zoo in Green Bay, which was amazing. I got to talk to one of the keepers for a good amount of time, and it was nice to talk to someone in the field again. I took pictures, but I will (hopefully) post them later. It really was ( Read more... )

Tonight Mom decided to make some beef for Stepdad. For those of you who may not remember such details, I am anaphylactic to beef and I wound up in the hospital the last time I was exposed to a massive amount of cooked cow.

I am having a rough time of it right now and am posting to have some contact with something.

Last night I didn't sleep all that long. I got back from campus and various errands at around 9 PM (because I stayed on campus after class and did work like a Good Grad Student, woo) which pushed my evening routine of dinner/emails/take care of Storm back quite a ways. This has not been a good week for Sarah's body. In addition to reacting to... something... that leaves me constantly asthmatic (I'm replacing safflower oil with sunflower oil to see if that helps) and the fact that my carpel tunnel is acting up, I stubbed my little toe yesterday and I'm pretty sure that I did something to it. More decent news: a check that I never got from the university has been reissued and I can pick it up tomorrow. Just in time, too - Storm only has three days of food left. I won't have access to the big loan check until Friday, so this smaller check will help me get by.
